We are so excited to be heading to the Azores this year 2022 to host Iboga Retreats on two different islands – Sáo Miguel & Pico. Our Nganga Makonza is of Portuguese heritage and so we are returning to his homeland, and it will be a very special time for all of us. Unified as we are now, we become a strong force, allowing sovereignty to those who choose to work with Iboga.

We offer retreats like no other in the west. It is not a retreat, it is a workshop and with Iboga´s guidance, you can work through physical, emotional and spiritual states that seem to bind you. Iboga is a spirit, not a plant medicine. To call it a medicine removes accountability of the self. We provide a spiritual space where spirit, Iboga, is present to assist you in your healing process. Iboga is a unique gift for everyone, it is tailor made to you and as servants to God, we allow sovereignty of the self. No influence outside of the self, you create your own situation and hence, can change it.

IBOGA IMMERSION RETREAT PROGRAM

Our retreat program is based on the traditional 5 days system in Africa. It is about immersing yourself with Iboga We come to the temple together on the first day of arrival and we do not leave the temple until the work with Iboga has been done. This retreat is about deep healing not about distractions

Our Iboga provider for these retreats will be Luis Makonza Da Silva. As a western teacher of Bwiti, Makonza is unparalleled. His ancestral lineage of black panther provides the strongest protection and guidance. Makonza is the most highly initiated man in the west and has completed the following rites and initiations in Africa :Muiri ( Men’s Rites), Ngoyi (Female Rites), Edicka (2) (Le Ngondey), Moumeney (Le Ngondey), Mudaki ( Le Mangonga), Sombi (Le Ngondey), Mougnimbi (Le Ngondey), Na Kombo (Le Ngondey), Kombi Na Missingui ( Le Mangonga), Nzegho (Black Panther)

  1. Monday - ​Arrival day. First Iboga Ceremony tonight
  2. Tuesday -  Processing Day
  3. Wednesday - Second Ceremony night.
  4. Thursday - Processing Day
  5. Friday - Departure Day

INCLUSIONS
  • 2 traditional Bwiti Iboga Healing Experiences. We work with pure Iboga Root Bark that is ethically harvested and prepared by Makonza on his visits to Gabon
  • 5 days, 4 nights accommodation, shared rooms
  • Counseling and talk therapy
  • Vegetarian meals prepared with local, organic ingredients that are ethically obtained from within the region. 
  • We can cater for any additional dietary needs.​
