Ebota A Maghanga
About our Not-for-Profit (NGO)

Picture
We work towards the preservation and protection of Indigenous knowledge and we are  the representative for the NGO EBOTA A MAGHANGA which is the cornerstone of The Universal Village of God - MBOKA A NZAMBE and its traditional hospital Le Don de Vie (The Gift of Life Hospital ) in the west. Mboka A Nzambe is a traditional village in Gabon that lives Bwete.

It is important to know when you are attending an indigenous plant retreat in the west that the originators of the traditions are supported through this venture and not disadvantaged by the wants of the colonial mind. As a result you see more centres supporting different not-for-profit causes in the world through their retreats as they wish to be seen as culturally sensitive.

As we are all aware, not-for-profits (NGO) and charities have been used worldwide to support an individuals agenda and often the people it is meant to be supporting rarely receive any support at all. So it is important that you take a good look with a critical eye and ask yourself where is the money really going? Is the NGO setup by a westerner? If so, it could well be supporting an endeavor that, in reality, enslaves the indigenous people they think they are trying to support.

In our case, our profits go to the NGO Ebota a Maghanga (which translates as the Tribe of Knowledge) in Gabon. This is an NGO that has been setup by the people, by King Adumangana, for the people in the village Mboka A Nzambe, as well as people who are part of the community who may not live at the village and also to support the surrounding Babongo Villages in Dibois. The NGO also supports the work of the Natural Medicine Hospital Le Don De Vie (The Gift of Life) at Mboka A Nzambe. People travel from all over to attend this hospital, people who have been told by the modern westernized hospitals in Libreville that there is no hope. People also come from the city because they prefer a natural solution to their ill health. Sometimes people cannot afford to pay for their treatments at Le Don De Vie and the NGO Ebota A Maghanga is used to fund these treatments and the NGO supports all those who come in need, no-one is ever turned away. King Adumangana is the King of the Babongo Pygmies and the holder of their ancient universal knowledge, with that in mind you cannot find a better man to be at the head of an NGO in Gabon as His Majesty has a pure heart & he is benevolent, trustworthy, kind & intelligent.

So ask yourself who does the retreat centre you are choosing support, if anyone? How much do they give? Is the money seen on the ground in Gabon? How is the money spent? What are the names of the villages they support? Who setup the NGO and what is their aim? Is the NGO further enslaving the indigenous culture by making them reliant on western ideals? Are they involved in other industries in Gabon? Or are they involved in research industries in the west that are gearing up to profit from the pharmaceutical Ibogaine?

We are in contact with our village Mboka A Nzambe all day, everyday. It is not just someone we donate money to, we are involved all their activities at anytime and they are our family in our home away from home. The 7 Babongo Villages we directly support in Dibois are Nyoye, Tranquille (our village, where King Adumangana lived for many years), Ndougou, Ossimba, Epamboa, Tchibanga, & Eghouba. Dibois is the spiritual centre of Gabon and you will find it very hard to locate it on a map as the Babongo's are continually ignored and marginalized by their government and other tribes in Gabon.

The video we have shared here is one of Kuma's trip to Dibois in 2022 when he visited 5 of the 7 villages we support. It was a grueling but rewarding once-in-a-lifetime journey, nothing is easy when you go to these places especially as access to the villages is by foot only, sometimes walking as far as 15 miles without food or water. This is what life is like in Dibois and Kuma was very privileged to visit these territories being the first white man to go through the Babongo right of Passage MWELI with other young men from the village of Tranquille and his Spiritual brother Vokonavoko.

So be certain, when you come to Ghieno a Nziambe at Ikara Retreat Centre in Costa Rica or Mosusu a Nziambe at Mboka A Nzambe in Gabon, you are directly giving to the Babongo pygmies, the originators of the Bwete tradition and the people that shared Iboga with the rest of the world. By giving to the Babongo's you will obtain true spiritual elevation, this is why we do this work! we feel priviledged and blessed to be trusted in this role by His Majesty in the West. As flowers of humanity we work tirelessly for this cause without personal gain.
