Babongo Bwete Miobe Iboga Ceremony

Ghieno A NDZAMBE

Costa Rica Southern Zone
Iboga is a spirit that provides a direct conduit to your soul and through this connection you can heal all physical, emotional and spiritual maladies. This is because we live in heaven on earth where thoughts create our experience, Iboga shows you this. It is intense but when used in a true traditional context, as taught by the first nations people of Gabon, the Babongo, it allows you to heal yourself. It is a powerful tool for spiritual advancement and has applications to all facets of LIFE! Iboga, being a root, takes you inward so that you can learn to live in this physical reality with joy and spontaneity.. See life as it truly is. Iboga is the spirit for the modern world so that we may see that in reality, everything is of our own making.

Our Nganga Na Somba Kuma Bwenze has trained with the first nations people, The Babongo, in one of the original branches of Bwete – called Miobe. Miobe is a healing branch and it is devoted to traditional medicines from the forest of which iboga is one. Manga his wife has been trained in the Babongo women's branch of OMBUDI. The sun and the moon are united through the alignment of BWETE and OMBUDI. The masculine and feminine are unified to work within the traditions and sanctify the physical & spiritual worlds. This alignment of initiates is often missed within the western world and its role is essential in bringing balance into a traditional ceremony..

The iboga ceremony we offer through His Majesty King Adumangana here at Ikara is called “Ghieno A Ndzambe” which translates as "God’s Mirror". From God’s mirror you can see and discover aspects of oneself and gain a new understanding of the creation of all

IBOGA´s healing capacities are universal. Become awareness in totality, without separation. Dissolve the illusions which causes dissension in your life. See your Self unite with TETA NDZAMBE KANA (God) consciously through a MIOBE IBOGA retreat in Costa Rica.

ABOUT IKARA RETREAT CENTRE

It has always been our deepest of intentions to work with the Iboga medicine. Bwete spiritual tradition is indelibly linked with nature and we are  encircled by nature at Ikara. Costa Rica is close to the equator, similar to Gabon in Africa and so our location is correctly aligned geographically with the origins of this plant. We experience an even flow of electrical energy and ion distribution due to our proximity to the ocean. This is settling for all meditative practice and facilitates deep resonance with the self and environment.

We are located high in the hills above the authentic Tico village of Portalón. We have the best of all worlds here -  quiet and secluded, set amongst old growth tropical rain forest. close to Matapalo beach, the beautiful Portalón river, and the Hills of Portalón Wildlife Sanctuary, We are located only 15 minutes from the community of Dominical and 30 minutes to Manuel Antonio National Park, Quepos.

We are biased of course, we chose this place and it is now where we call home so we should let the images speak for themselves!

Ikara is the representative for the NGO Ebota A Maghanga which is the cornerstone of The Universal Village of God - Mboka A Nzambe and its traditional hospital Le Don de Vie (The Gift of Life Hospital ) in the west.

When you participate in GHIENO A NDZAMBE here at Ikara, which is your adopted introduction to mind and the beginning of liberation, you directly contribute to our spiritual brothers and sisters who are composed of lovers of culture and natural medicine. Ebota A Maghanga, with support from ikara, works towards sustainability of indigenous knowledge for future generations and for a better world built on the brotherhood of man.

Ebota A Maghanga brings together initiates and healers from Gabon. Globally, the NGO is focused on
- The enhancement and protection of Gabonese cultural heritage
- Participation to health coverage for all through Le Don De Vie
- Integration of indigenous people´s
- Preservation of the environment
- Guaranteed access to organic food for a healthy & natural diet

This is not a promotional business through our association. This is our service to our spiritual teachers, brothers and sisters in an effort to maintain ethical practice and adapted forms of Iboga to the western mind whilst supporting its origin and source.

Radiate back into God's thinking with Iboga.
